Falcon Feathers Video

Today, 12, 21, 2010, as Rory-cat and I were sitting in the reading room, the blue jays started raising a fuss outside. Then, there was a big bang against the window. Rory and I got up to look and we saw this falcon in our tree. The music is by my husband Mike Chapman on his little, hand-made guitar.

Great August Day

Mike and I enjoyed a wonderful day ... we discovered a great little roadside stand at 899 Shady Shore near Bay City ... we stopped at Mussell Beach for ice cream cones and a beautiful sunset ... we came home and saw deer prancing in the yard.Mike discovers 899 Shady Shore.

Mussell Beach has great cones, many picnic tables to sit at and a great view of sunsets near our state park.

St. Mary-of-the-Woods

Mike and I visited with Aunt Leona and Aunt Emily recently. Their home, St. Mary-of-the-Woods in Indiana, was enjoying a beautiful season.I walk with Aunt Emily past new construction at Providence. Aunt Leona's room is nearby.
Mike took this great shot of my favorite alpaca. Emily has been knitting with wool from these critters.
Mike also noted the beautiful architecture gracing the property.

I did get one good photo of a little creature.
